Lombardy St.) \/ 5pm \/ $5 Buffet and Free to Attend<\/em><br \/>\nA show of photography gathered from many local point and shoot enthusiasts ranging in ages from 7 to 70. Hundreds of prints will be available for purchase (12\u201d Prints : $5 each\/3 for $12. 7\u201d Prints : $2 each\/3 for $5). There will be a $5 buffet and musical entertainment. $1 from every sale will be donated to the Harvey\u00a0Memorial Fund.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Richmond Premiere of The Legend of Cool &#8220;Disco&#8221; Dan Documentary<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>The Byrd Theatre \/ 7:30pm \/ Free to Attend<\/em><br \/>\nThe Legend of COOL \u201cDISCO\u201d DAN is a documentary film directed by Joseph Pattisall and Executive Produced by Roger Gastman. The 90-minute documentary narrated by D.C. native Henry Rollins, tells the story of Washington, D.C. in the 1980s through the eyes of D.C. graffiti legend, COOL \u201cDISCO\u201dDAN. Blending exclusive interviews with dozens of local and national celebrities along with archival footage, Washington natives offer the most comprehensive por- trait to date on this critical decade of the 1980s. The development of Go-Go, D.C.\u2019s distinctive style of urban music, racial tensions, crews, sensationalist media, crack, and graffiti are important pieces of this story. <a title=\"Facebook\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/318638484946511\/\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook event<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Flaming Lips &#8220;Zaireeka&#8221; Listening Party<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Ipanema (917 W. Grace St.) \/ 11pm \/ Free to Attend<\/em><br \/>\nGet hazy with Deep Groove as they synchronize 4 TURNTABLES to play The Flaming Lips&#8217; CLASSIC experimental-psych record: ZAIREEKA in-full! Don&#8217;t miss out on a once-in a lifetime opportunity to hear the LP as it was meant to be heard AND on WAX to BOOT! The main event should start sometime after 11PM with other psychedelic and funky grooves being spun before and after!<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, many art galleries have special artist talks and receptions to preview their Friday shows. Broad St. and N. Belvidere St.) \/ 3pm-8pm \/ Free to Visit<\/em><br \/>\nFall Line Fest registration begins. Remember you must come to the ICA Site at the corner of W. Broad Street and N. Belvidere Street to purchase a Fest wristband, or exchange your ticket for a Fest wristband. Purchasers of VIP badges should pick up at the ICA Site as well. We know who you are. Your ticket does not admit you to the events! 601 W Broad St.<\/p>\n<p>When you arrive at the ICA Site, enjoy food trucks, beer truck, coffee truck, and an incredible art installation by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.azizcucher.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Aziz and Cucher<\/a>, curated by ICA Director, Lisa Freiman.\u00a0Take a photo with a LOVEly sculpture by local artists at\u00a0Fest friend, RamBikes. Park your bike there!<\/p>\n<p>Everyone is welcome at the ICA Site Party! A portion of beer sales will benefit FeedRVA, which works to provide local, healthy, food options for Richmond&#8217;s underserved communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Live Mural Painting<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Emrick Flats Lot (101 W. Marshall St.) \/ 3pm-6pm \/ Free to Attend<\/em><br \/>\nMuralist Ham? continues live painting of a large scale mural on the face of the former Emrick Chevrolet turned loft condo building across from Gallery 5 and Art 180, and next to Saison.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anthony Aziz and Sammy Cucher Artist Talk<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Grace Street Theater \/ 4pm \/ Free to Attend<\/em><br \/>\nVCUArts will host an artist talk with Anthony Aziz and Sammy Cucher, who make up the collective Aziz + Cucher. The collective will also be <a href=\"http:\/\/falllinefest.com\/2013\/art\/#VCUArts\">exhibiting<\/a> during Fall Line Fest at the VCU ICA Site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Fridays Art Walk<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Broad Street Arts District \/ 5pm-9pm \/ Free to Attend<\/em><br \/>\nMany of Richmond&#8217;s revered galleries open their doors to a lively art scene. See details on many of the shows on the <a title=\"FLF Art\" href=\"http:\/\/falllinefest.com\/2013\/#art\">Art<\/a> section of our website!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hype Happy Hour<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Pasture \/ 5pm &#8211; 7pm \/ Free to Attend<\/em><br \/>\nFall Line Fest sponsor Hype will be hosting a happy hour to offer those interested in learning more about this volunteer driven organization to connect and mobilize young professionals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Farmers&#8217; Market &amp; GrowRVA Food \/ Art Market<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Quirk Parking Lot \/ 5pm-9pm \/ Free to Attend<\/em><br \/>\nRichmond loves to eat local. Our food scene depends on many of the local farmers setting up in the parking lot of Quirk Gallery for Fall Line Fest. Come meet these growers and pick up provisions for the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Local artisans will also be in attendance, selling jewelry, clothing, ceramics, books, and other wares as part of Mystery Mart.<\/p>\n<h4>SATURDAY SEPT 7th<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Record Label Expo + Panel Discussion<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>The Well \/ 11am &#8211; 3pm \/ Free to Attend<\/em><br \/>\nWRIR will host a local\/regional record label expo.
